The Great Outdoors

Dear Parents and Caregivers,
A belated welcome back from Spring Break! We hope you had a restful and enjoyable time with your loved ones. As we find ourselves fully immersed in the month of April, we are excited to share all the wonderful activities and learning experiences that await us.

Spring has been incredibly busy and continues to be a vibrant season here at Bondar. With the final term upon us, this is our last push towards the end of the school year. We encourage all students to stay focused and give their best effort as we wrap up our academic journey.

A New Year

Dear Parents and Caregivers,
I hope that you were all able to enjoy a fun-filled and restful holiday break with your families. The two-week break is an opportunity to recharge and to take the time to reconnect with our kids, friends and extended family. Hopefully families stayed healthy and were able to enjoy the time away from routines to the fullest😊

As we start a new year and a new term, here are some friendly Bondar reminders:

Wonderful Winter

Dear Parents and Caregivers,
We are on the verge of winter and the holiday season is just about upon us, which comes with much excitement, events and activities to take part in. This time of year is also when many of us are feeling run down and can catch the flu or other respiratory illnesses like Covid-19.

Spotlight On LLC

With its impressive high ceilings and huge windows, showcasing a spectacular view of our back field, forest area and even some mountains, students and staff alike love to descend upon the Library for teaching, meeting and learning. There is a warmth about it, and a sense of comfort and belonging because of the clean physical space with its soft lighting and quiet, engaging activities, but at the true heart of our love for the Library, is Mrs. Erickson.

Creating a Community That Cares

At École Clearbrook Elementary, we understand that students’ emotional well-being is the foundation of learning and success. When a student feels regulated, safe and has a sense of belonging at school, building literacy and numeracy skills takes flight. Teachers at Clearbrook intentionally target and teach social-emotional learning skills and strategies that positively impact our students’ social-emotional well-being.

On to October

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

The school year is well underway, and most of us are feeling settled into our routines and feeling comfortable with the day-to-day happenings of school and family life. Reconnecting with the people we know and care about is reassuring as we get to know community members that we aren’t yet familiar with and create new connections and friendships with those around us. Our hope is that all students are finding their comfort-zone and are feeling that sense of belonging that is so important to Bondar.
