Celebrating Community at Bondar

Dear Parents and Caregivers,
As the holiday season approaches, we find ourselves reflecting on the incredible first term we’ve shared at Bondar School. It’s hard to believe how quickly the time has flown by. These past months have been filled with hard work, dedication, and just the right amount of fun sprinkled in along the way. Watching our students learn, grow, and progress has been such a joy. We are so proud of each and every one of them! Parents, please take a moment to look over your child’s learning update, talk with them about their achievements, and celebrate their progress together—it’s a wonderful way to recognize all they’ve accomplished.

One of the things that makes Bondar so special is the strong sense of community we share. We truly come together to support one another and celebrate during meaningful times of the year. This was evident at our Christmas Concert on Wednesday. Thank you to all the parents who encouraged their children to practice and take the brave step of performing with their classes. Every child shone on stage, and we couldn’t have been prouder of their talents and courage. A heartfelt thank you also goes to our teachers, who not only teach and support students every day but also guided them in learning the skills of performing and sharing with an audience—all on top of their regular responsibilities. And of course, an enormous thank you to Ms. Shackleford, who single-handedly organized the entire production. What an incredible gift to our school community.

Today, we continued the celebrations with our Pancake Breakfast and Photos with Santa, organized entirely by our amazing PAC. It was truly magical - brimming with Christmas spirit and holiday energy. It was wonderful to gather, laugh, and enjoy one another’s company as we head into the holiday season. We are so fortunate to have such a supportive, kind, and tight-knit community here at Bondar.

As we look ahead to the new year, we want to thank parents, students, and staff for your continued collaboration. We love working together and can’t wait to see where the rest of the year takes us.
