Frosty Fun at School
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
I hope you and your families have smoothly transitioned into Term 2 and are managing the busy schedules, playdates, activities, and learning.
Over the past few weeks, students have had the chance to participate in Dance Week and Djembe Drumming, which provided unique opportunities to try something new. We hope they enjoyed taking these risks. Coming up, students will be inline skating during PE the week of February 24th, offering another opportunity to explore a different activity. Embracing new experiences and stepping out of our comfort zones are valuable skills that parents and caregivers can model at home. Let's encourage our kids to be open to all forms of learning.
We are excited to welcome parents into the school on February 19th and 20th for Parent-Teacher Conferences. This is a great opportunity to connect with your child's teacher, discuss successes and growth, and address any concerns. There will be early dismissal on February 19th and 20th at 11:58 am. Evening conferences will take place on Thursday, February 20th, from 4-7 pm. A booking link will be sent out soon.
Our Sacred Teaching for February is Love. I hope you can enjoy this month's events with your children, whether celebrating Lunar New Year, exchanging chocolates and cards for Valentine's Day, spending time together on Family Day, or learning more about Black History Month. Connection and love within our families and community are at the heart of Bondar.
Enjoy the sun and snow this weekend!
