Springing Ahead

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

As we begin the much-anticipated Spring Break, we want to take a moment to reflect on the achievements of our students during the second term. It has been a period filled with growth, learning, and numerous successes, and we couldn't be prouder of our students for their hard work and openness to new experiences. Throughout the term, our students have demonstrated commitment to their learning, participated in various school activities, and shown curiosity in classroom activities. From excelling in academic subjects to showcasing their talents in the arts and in sports, our students have truly shone brightly.

Last Friday, Learning Updates were sent home with all students. These updates provide valuable insights into your child's progress and achievements. We encourage you to read these updates carefully and to celebrate your child's successes together. Taking the time to read together, discuss school days regularly, and maintain open and positive interactions with teachers can greatly support your child's learning journey. Our teachers are always happy to address any concerns and work with families to help each student thrive.

This term we were pleased to welcome families into the school for our first Come Learn With Me event last week, a twist on our traditional Come Read With Me. Parents and caregivers were invited into classrooms to either read with their child or engage in educational activities such as math games. Events like this have a positive impact by strengthening the relationships between families and the school, fostering a sense of community and collaboration. We love connecting with our community and look forward to more opportunities to bring everyone together.

As we head into Spring Break, we encourage our students, families and staff to take this time to relax, recharge, and enjoy quality time with family and friends. It's a well-deserved break after a term of hard work and accomplishments. We hope that everyone returns refreshed and ready to embrace the final term with the same enthusiasm and determination.
