Summer Vibes

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

School is officially out for summer and the shift in the daily routine is beginning. I hope that you are all able to find some adventure, some fun and some relaxation over the next 9 weeks! It is time to celebrate after a successful year of learning😊

And with the closure of the school year, we are saying goodbye to some of the staff members that worked with us this year:

Ms. Davies is retiring.

Mrs. G. is retiring.

Miss Sohl is taking a job at another school.

Mr. Zed is taking a job at John Maclure.

Ms. Brooks has been accepted into the teaching program at UFV.

Mrs. Born is returning to retirement.

Mrs. Dorsey is returning to retirement.

Mrs. R (Rajbir Kaur) is pursuing teacher certification.

Mrs. R (Ramandeep Basran) is pursuing further education also.

Thank you so much to all of our departing staff members. We truly appreciate your contributions and will miss you so much!

We would also like to welcome some new staff members who will be joining us in September:

Mrs. Erica Tjart who will be taking on Grade K/1.

Mr. Jack Gunther who will be teaching Grade 3/4 on Thursday/Friday, with Mrs. Byron.

Mrs. Tiffany Stapleton who will be teaching Grade 2/3 on Wednesdays, with Mrs. Lepine.

Ms. Sarah Cameron who will be join us as an EA.

Ms. Selma Begovic who will be joining us as an EA.

Welcome to all of our new staff members; we look forward to connecting with and getting to know you in September.

Thank you to all families, students and staff for another outstanding year at Bondar. I am so thankful and very proud to be part of such a welcoming, warm and inclusive community, and I am excited about all the things that we can accomplish by working together. But for now, let’s take a break and get recharged and ready to jump back into another year of learning. Have a wonderful summer, everyone!
